Hi I am Jake 8 years old and just starting to explore underground,

I have my own blog , where you can find some of things I get upto it is mainly around exploring around Winter Hill  near Horwich where I live, there were many mines on winter hill and I have visted the brickworks and old mills on Winter hill

  I was invited by  NWEX to go underground with them

Hi Jake!

I can't remember what samples I gave you, but anything green is malachite (a form of copper), anything blue is azurite (also a form of copper), and anything black is cobalt. Anything particularly heavy has some galena (lead) in it. The little blue balls are azurite spheres. Maybe you could pass the information back to Evie for her show and tell
