Location: Hwlffordd | Just a friendly hello from Sir Benfro (Pembrokeshire)!
Been a keen explorer for some time, and visited some truly astonishing locations but they have, for the most part, always been above ground.
I work as a Photographer (Landscapes mainly) and tend to combine the exploration side and the shutter bug side together ... It opens up a never ending stream of opportunities.
When I ain't working with the Camera I work for the local Council, and when not working for the Council I volunteer with the Ambulance Service dealing with anything from slips on the path to 999's (LT calls)
Anyhow, reason I am here is largely thanks to the coastline where I live ... It has an abundance of mines and hidden shafts that haven't been filled - We also have many more inland around the towns (some of which have been filled) and I am lucky enough to live on top of a network of tunnels ... Just can't find the shaft
I am looking at heading down into some when I have finished doing my research on them ... One of which is a 400 Foot drop into the abyss ... Fun
Anyway, think that about covers everything for now, time for a ! |

Location: Hwlffordd | Thanks for the welcomes
I dare say that 90% of where we live has got some form of workings, and I dare say what we do see when we find them is perhaps only 40% of them.
I did notice on the os map that Tenby has 2 vent's in the middle of a field, doesn't mention anything else though ... still worth a nosey |
