The work to reduce the environmental run-off from the various mines in the Dylife area has now started with the car park below The Star Inn made into a fenced compound with a 2 storey contiainer based "office", another unit and a huge pile of fine gravel. Not sure how long they intend to be there.

And The Star has now reopened, although currently only from Thursday to Sunday although this may change during the summer. And the food is good!

Don't think so. The "problem" seems to be the rivers that feed into the Dyfi valley and not the Hafren catchment.
