Great County Adit at Twelveheads

I'll be giving it a miss for the time being.
😄 you could simulate the experience for much less effort by clambouring into your nearest neck deep ditch and squelching around in it for a few hours.

I also don't think the water coming out of GCA is very nice. Rodda's, the famous cream maker, ditch their factory effluent down a mine shaft that is drained by GCA, and there must be loads of septic tanks around Chacewater that ultimately drain there too! 🥴

Like the river at the bottom of my garden then! 😂.

I assume the Milwr Tunnel is not as bad?? I think our club went in there a couple of months ago and I am not aware of any cases of dysentry and cholera.......yet.

I would say that the Milwr is pretty clean. Although I have no evidence to support that! Might be lead loaded though.

Chris.

I always tend to stick to see change where ever i go ???

Wow! Pretty cool. If you want mucky water, try Manor Farm Swallet and others on Mendip. Some take a fair bit of what we term "farm yard run-off".
