The mine closed approximately 30 years ago, after an extremely profitable century. I had the honor to explore this complex for two solid days. Cutting through workings from the early 1900s towards more modern infrastructure was a one of a kind experience. Knowing I barely scratched the surface of the entire complex makes me wonder what else is hidden there.
Unfortunately, I can't publish the name or location for this mine in a public forum. It would be a shame though, not to share some pics.
