Being a nice day we headed out for a look at Pantywrach. That being done, we crossed over the ridge to have a look at Rhiwgoch, which I assumed was just a level used by Rhiwgoch Farm for water supply. Luckily, there was a bit more to it.
Not visible from the path, but visible if one climbs on to the boggy moor above was a hut. This proved to be a small mine building standing at one end of a shelterd hollow with spoil which appears to have been a dressing floor of sorts. Nearby is possibly another building, it only being 2 or so sources of rock high.

Above this are a couple of spoil heaps, upon which investigation appear sourced from a hollow which on closer investigation proved to be flooded. It's either a boulder chocked shaft or a level with water above roof height - difficult to say which.

The adit previously noted by the farm was then looked at, noting that it no longer appears to be being used as farm supply.

A bit further on the track towards Penrhyn, there's a gouged out hollow on the right, with some blocked workings to its left - this being used as farm supply. This must be in line with one of the Pantywrach veins, and may or may not be fabled (but unlikely) exit through which workers went to Penrhyn for their lunch.
