World's deepest Mine Marathon

The Garpenberg mine marathon is held 1120m below Sweden, in 24 degrees and 72% humidity. Lovely. To prepare, he ran with his headlamp and helmet in the summer heat, getting some funny looks!

Interesting. Funny how the competitor was worried about the rock above them. I'd be more worried about being able to make the distance.
