Votty caverns sealed
There has recently been more work done in the Maenofferen "Pit" which has resulted in the the old votty caverns and tuxford incline terminus being apparently sealed off. I can discern the opening with the telegraph poles but this is a drop on the inside, it may be possible to abseil in here. Please note that this is only a cursory glance. I can understand Miles removing pictures etc so as not to encourage entry, but I now fear that the worst has happened. I have good pics of the caverns etc taken in 1987. They are on my web, Miles can use them if he wants.

Photos Removed
After much thought I've decided to remove most of the pictures for this mine from public and members-only viewing. The reason for this is so not to encourage explorers to try and gain entry, which would aggravate Greaves Ltd into sealing it off and threaten the existing remains/ artifacts. The photos have been transferred to the classified store and may be made publicly available again in the future if deemed appropriate. Thanks for your understanding in this matter.
