The 'main adit' has totally collapsed 100ft inside :(.

Coldberry

This is apparently one of the larger lead mines in Teesdale (County Durham), there are several adits easily accsessable, however some of them are locked shut inside. The locks look new and used, so possibly the landowner allows access. The whole mine area has several footpaths through it and is part of the "Moorlands right to roam" scheme allowing legal accsess to the entire external mine
