PHOTOGRAPHS ON THIS PAGE
Most of the photographs on this page, ostensibly of Gorseddau quarry, are in fact of the remains of Ynys-pandy (Ty-Mawr) slate mill, built to work the slate from the quarry. This ruin is some two miles down the unclassified road which leads to Cwmllystadllyn reservoir.

GORSEDDAU QUARRY
A three-mile (?) walk along very the rutted and wet course of the old tramway. Stout boots are a necessity.
Last walked 09 October 2006.
