Little info

Low water is reputed to be one of the oldest underground slate mines in Britain. None of these ancient, and unstable levels are currently open, though one was opened in the 1990s, only to find much of the level was not in the condition expected, and nobody could venture beyone the entrance. Much resurch has been done here, though it is not likely that these workings will ever fully be open.
