Getting to this mine
I attempted last night to reach the adits for this mine by going up the very steep incline (Ffestiniog side) then scaling the cliff face.
It just got steeper and steeper until I got to a point maybe 50 feet below the lowest adit, by then on near vertical ground with the prospect of a very long fall, so gave up. These adits really were driven horizontally into a cliff face, I'm a confident scrambler and I failed to reach them.
