Master Site Map

This site really is intresting! I will do some makeshift maps of the place to show the levels ect... Peat field is still working and the presant day quarry has followed the line of the Peat Field adit to a close-head meaning that at the end of the quarry there is a sizeable overhang. Below the overhang there is another close-head. There is also a tunnel in the quarry 'obviously cut into by later open-cast workings, which opens out into the quarry.
