Most of these photos seem to be of Sheriff's Pit NZ697963. Rosedale West Mines were further along the railway track at NZ 728945.

the shaft is still open today and has a fence round it ,the mine managers house has gone but still standing is a gabel end of the building,foundations are clearly visible from the workshops ect,as is the railway as it winds round the hillside from chimney bank sidings to blakey ridge then on to bloworth crossing before going over the edge of the moor to ingelby incline which makes a pleasant walk
