above portal
has anyone been into the stope high up on the cliff above the portal shown in these pictures?(looks like a slot about 20m from cliff top) in the stope is 8m gap to cross, does anyone know if its worth the effort

Wheal Lushington
Wheal Lushinton adit came out at Porthtowan and was pumped by flat rods from the engine house on the beach, now a private residence. The adit the other side of the Toban Horse is Metal Work, cross cut to the vein where exploration is possible for some distance, beware of winze in floor. This cove can be reached by an easy cliff path which commences close to the seaward end of the dirt track leading down to the cliffs.
