Greetings ! My company now owns all of Mount Wellington Mine. At some point, we will have to close off public access to the adit. At the moment, we can't as there are bats roosting there. However, we don't want to be a killjoy. For example, ALL the staff that work at the company (www.kensaengineering.com) have said that they would like to take a trip down the mine at some point. When the adit is closed off, sometime later this year, you'll all be more than welcome to borrow the key, provided you sign a health and saftey document, and agree to leave our bats in peace ! In the meantime, we're trying to gather as much of the Heritage of the site together as we can, so any stories, photos or other interesting information would be most appreciated. My email address is richard@kensaengineering.com Cheers Richard Freeborn 01872 862440 (number on site a Wellington)
