Croesor Slate Quarry: Croesor Slate Mine -View from Rhosydd Tramway (Public)

Croesor Slate mine seen from the trackbed of the Rhosydd Tramway on the opposite side of Cwm Croesor. The drumhouse for the exit incline can be seen perched upon the waste spilling down the mountainside. the incline falls obliquely to the right to the valley floor. The footpath rising from right to left across the mountainside is the Rhosydd miners track from Croesor village. 04/03/2008
